Amen, on the runway.

[Sweater: Thrifted, Shorts: F21, Leggings: F21, Shoes: JC]

A day in the life of "fashion school". I only put " " over the word fashion school, because it is not your typical thought of what a fashion school would be.

I walked to school with these babies on. I feared the outside and a couple hours of having these strapped to my feet. It's funny because JC's were NOT even known of or worn last year at my school. I am proud to say that I was the first gal to walk with them in those hallways (very conceded, I know. I just strive to have different things).  Now, I know three girls with Litas. No one knew who made the night walkers ..even though it's the same shoe as the one of their feet. They all stair and looked at me weirdly until one girl asked me a question about it then a group of 5-10 chimed in to listen. I over heard the girl behind me, "I don't dress up to come to school. Sweatpants and a comfortable attire is good for me". Well, that is a good way of thinking about school attire. Your brain works hard enough so make sure your legs does no work! But that statement is why I put "" over fashion school. I always dream of going to a fashion school full of innovators and fashion leaders that every day inspire me and make me jealous. Who make me to run outside of the school crying because of their styling abilities are amazing! But, no one really does that to me.

My thought process goes: one day, I will enter the fashion industry. I will have to wear heels and maybe platforms at one point. Learn how to walk in heels so well now (when you don't care about the people around you) instead of learning when you are on the streets of NYC or in the office building when you DO care about the people around you. And they DO critique your walking skills.

My design friend said (the girl in the picture who is not me (ha) ): "I like when I walk around with you. When I walk by myself, people look at me like I am a freak. But when we walk together people both look at us and think we are both freaks." And this is what fashion friends are for.
