SHOE LA QUEEN
[Shorts: DIY Thrifted (cut & painted stripes with nail polish, haha), Shirt: Thrifted. Denim Blouse: DIY Target, Shoes: BCBG.]
I decided to layer these shoes with a pair of my grandma's socks I found. I wanted to be able to experience these shoes in a comfortable way since I always feel uncomfortable when the bottom of my foot rubs against the sole of the shoe. Not to mention, I also enjoy the layered look as well. I need to invest in more styles of socks for this winter. Good thing, I purchased some heavier tights yesterday that I am excited to throw on as well, but as always I don't feel like that is enough to my sock/tight collection.
I also hate when people talk literally behind my back. While in class, this boy said "I like how she cut her jacket" to me this is a blouse, but I kinda use it as a jacket..if you wanna call it that. He had a full blown conversation about it right behind where I was sitting! Not once did he ask me to turn around and compliment me to my face. I don't understand people! Despite the compliments behind my back I do enjoy them. I hated the way how I butchered the denim blouse with cutting the top of the sleeves. But slowly, it began to grow on me. I always admire the grungy side of fashion. I want to just indulge myself in the grungy, dirty, rebel side but I am afraid that side is a bit too young (too angsty) for my age. Sigh. I think, though that I will always break my own rules, and some day go that grungy rebel that I always want to be!
All in all, today is going to be a day of relaxing, looking up current events, thrifting and DIYing! I just feel the need to do some projects. I hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!
