The new mixing print movement in fashion for the spring/summer of 2012 has caught my eye- in a good way! I can see how some people could cringe at these pairings. But, I am in love with this trend! I need to get out into the thrift store now and shop shop shop for patterns! 

NEW IN| beauty products, 

Went a little bit crazy at Walmart/Target today. But, that is okay because all these products are very much needed.

WISH LIST| school time,

I don't know why school is on my mind when it just ended. However, since Christmas is over it sort of feels like the holidays are already over, and now it is time to get onto the Spring semester. 

I am dreaming for a leather backpack. I know how uncool it would be with a backpack..but! If you were to add some awesome gold spikes to the mix it will be like Pimp my backpack! Also add a marc jacobs laptop sleeve to the equation and all will end well.

The only thing I am not looking forward to is books. Blah :(. I just crushed my dream of being excited for the next semester already. Also, add a new planner to that list of things I need.

NEW IN| Betsey Johnson, 

The sparkly pink glitter cases was the first to catch my eyes. Usually, I am not much of a accessory nor a Betsey Johnson fan. But, these charm bracelets were too "cute" (I'll call them) to give up. Especially since I had a 25% and a 15% off discount. Only making each bracelet come to 22$ instead of the 35$ that they originally were! I picked up one for my cousin since everything I like she likes. We are copies of each other.

May I say...that I am loving the strips of metal! It's a touch of elegance but edge.

I am also feeling the kitten heel. I know a lot of people despise the kitten heel- now, don't hate. The kitten heel exposes your feet as there is nothing but structure- minimalistic. The minimalistic shoe structure seems to be an upcoming trend. We go from obnoxious chunk shoes to simple. Then again, according to the fashion pendulum swing one extreme always switches the trend to another extreme.

I went into the thrift store today to do some filming. I left my wallet in the car so I would NOT touch my money (because I am on a super tight budget saving for NYC). However, while filming I found this beautiful fitted banana republic coat, and pony hair leopard loafers. The pony hair leopard loafers is a god sent since I am on an extreme leopard kick and want everything leopard. Especially shoes, and here were these 3 dollar PONY HAIR shoes staring me right in the eyes. I just had to grab those. So, I am 13$ poorer. It's okay though, it was worth it all. 

This week is all exams, and once I am done with exams I am going to be working on my new blog: Thrift Ideology. My plan is to thrift/alter and sell pieces for the upcoming season to make a little bit of money for my saving fund for moving to NYC. I figure this will keep my mind busy since hours got cut for the slow non-hoilday season ahead of us. I plan to begin creating the concept and shopping for the line next week. I feel like this is a huge school project, but I need something like this to oil up my rusty fashion skills that has been taught to me all semester. 

Healthy Eats | juice bar, 

My boyfriend took me to this juice bar. I did not know exactly what to expect of a combination of orange, apple, carrot, and ginger. But, surprisingly enough that combination and even his drink combination was good enough to make me consider a complete "raw" diet. A couple weeks back, I decided to go down the vegan route and throughout those four days that I lasted I felt amazing. It was a taste of how I could feel every day and even though it is a lot of work it seems completely worth it.

What caught my eye was the color of my drink! Just a beautiful fluorescent orange! If only this picture captured it's color better, and if only that color was made into a lipstick. I would be all over it!
